He said: 'Some yob, mid-20s, he came across from (a) street, walked over to me, gave me the finger, went up to the Co-Op, got a milkshake, came down here and threw it on me. Politics today.' Mr McNaughton (right, pictured in uniform) is thought to be a teller who had been sitting on a chair outside the polling station and recording the number of people who have voted. A crowdfunding page was set up to buy Mr McNaughton a new suit, and saw £14,000 donated in the first five hours. It is the latest in a spate of incidents involving people attacking public figures with milkshakes, with Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage and EDL founder Tommy Robinson among those targeted in recent days.

It's tough because i have nothing against transgenders etc or people that identify like that BUT the issue with stuff like this is, what is stopping a rapist etc just sticking on a dress and a pair of tights "identifying" as a woman and then gaining access to toilets and pools etc easily and it being easier to potentially rape or harm women/children, same with nonces

It kind of opens that potential easier access door for the wronguns, that's the issue

Not a fan of unisex toilets either

Yeah I get the concern, but realistically no system is going to be perfect. Firstly, what about transgender men?

There has been issues with trans men being arrested in America because of the bathroom rules. A lot of women are not comfortable to be sharing bathrooms with trans men either...

Likewise, there are people who are intersex who don't really fit in either category. Or people with Swyer Syndrome - women with XY chromosomes, but biologically speaking are naturally female. How are they any different to post-op trans women?

A bit random but how often do people go up North (of Birmingham)?

Was thinking this earlier that in 30 years (all be it nearly 1/3rd not living in England) I've only ever gone up North for Chelsea games and a couple of work training weeks.

It's just simply not a part of the world that has any real interest for me, unless it's Newcastle for a night out or a close friend moves up i can't see myself ever going North of Birmingham for anything non Chelsea/work related.
