...ARE WE APPEALING OR NOT?????
FFS I HAVE BEEN ASKING THIS ON THE HAVEN FOR ABOUT FOUR DAYS NOW!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All the articles about it feel like reading a foreign language but i think that we have to wait for fifa's written reason's then we can trigger a CAS appeal.
I'm torn on what we should do, on one hand i feel we should accept it make Hazard see out his deal and ride it out while Cech gets his feet under the table and sorts a strategy out but on the other hand there's a ridiculous amount of quality players on the market this summer, a lot more than usual and if there's a genuine chance we can nab a couple of them we should be all over it.

Out of interest which of those 2 options are you leaning towards?

I seriously don't want us signing him.
We should appeal the ban and try and get it delayed until the January transfer window. Meaning we'd be banned from signing players in the January and summer transfer windows. Which means we can still sign players next season (in January). Works out better I think.
This squad does need a huge overhaul asap.

Does your goal remain playing for Chelsea?
Yeah. That’s the team I have grown up playing for and I have been at since the age of seven. Making my Chelsea debut was a dream come true, and I want that feeling again and again. That’ll be the aim, and fingers crossed I will achieve it.
Good chap, still determined to make it/play at Chelsea despite being kicked to the curb by current Chelsea manager.
Reward for hardwork and persistence may payoff next season, under a new manager.
Tammy -
What areas have you been working on this season?
The main one has to be hold-up play. Coming into a league where it’s very physical, and there are very good teams in the league as well, sometimes the only option is to be a target man. I have been that target man for Aston Villa, even though growing up at Chelsea you’re not really a target man at a young age! You mostly have the ball on the floor.
I have taken that into my game. Because of my height and my appearance sometimes I have to become a target man. It’s something I have had to improve on and I think I have done.
Have you enjoyed that side of that game?
Yeah I have enjoyed it. I like to be physical sometimes. I grew up watching Didier Drogba, more recently Diego Costa, and learned how the best use their body and their brain. I like that. It’s not just ‘nicey nicey’ football – sometimes you have got to show the rough side of you as well, and show your strength. I’m a strong lad and I have to use that.
Tell us about the management structure at Villa Park, which includes John Terry and manager Dean Smith…
Everything has their own individual part. Dean Smith works with the midfielders, John Terry works with the defenders and Richard O’Kelly works with the strikers. We always come together at the end and you can see each and every one of them has put something into positional play. They always combine it at the end, we put it together, and we always put in our ideas as well. It’s not just them feeding back to us. It’s the players as well, how we feel on the pitch and the right areas to take up. That’s always needed in teams.

Jorginho sustained a knock in last week's open training session.
Drinkwater one step closer. One more injury away.
Ampadu, Cumming, Drinkwater, Gallagher travelled to Baku.
Drinky to start & be the scoring midfielder we've been missing all season
it's written.
May have to revise my prediction
we might get smashed 4-0

4-0 seems harsh but we're going to lose on Wednesday. Too many key players are injured (and yes Ruben is now a key player imo).
Hazard has been out of form as well and is probably more interested in staying injury free so he can push for his move to Madrid.
All the talk is of Sarri leaving so who knows how motivated he is for this game.
Arsenal need to win this game, we don't. So no prizes who the motivated team will be for this Final.
And finally Emery has a very impressive record in this competition which is another advantage to them.
Emery should be under more pressure but the expectations are lower for him
