4-0 seems harsh but we're going to lose on Wednesday. Too many key players are injured (and yes Ruben is now a key player imo).

Hazard has been out of form as well and is probably more interested in staying injury free so he can push for his move to Madrid.

All the talk is of Sarri leaving so who knows how motivated he is for this game.

Arsenal need to win this game, we don't. So no prizes who the motivated team will be for this Final.

And finally Emery has a very impressive record in this competition which is another advantage to them.

Last year we were apparently "going to lose" in the final because Conte had a shet cup record and Jose "doesn't lose finals" and look how that worked out.

I think a major negative is for clubs like Derby and Villa, if they don’t get promoted, they will lose their key players on loan, which the article doesn’t really touch on, other than mentioning how Fulham struggled in the PL this year after failing to get their key loan players back. You could argue if they have a good relationship with clubs they can go back in for more talent each season, which Derby will surely do if they stay in the Champ, but still it’s a tough ask to replace their literal three best players with new loanees. It is well accepted that loans can be tough and variable for young players ie can’t always predict how it’s going to go.

If Lamps is still there they will have a line to our best youth when they want

Jose may have been shot compared to his prime but he had a pretty formidable cup final record still and we had a manager who never won a cup competition and lost his recent final to Wenger.

Pretty much everyone I spoke to were downbeat on our chances for that reason yet we did it.

I'm not saying we will 100% win but you really are underestimating the winning mentality this club have in the modern day.

I always thought that criticism of Conte not being a cup manager was a load of guff though.

But there's no doubt we were utter shat in the PL last season so for that reason alone you can understand why fans were downbeat about our chances in the FA Cup Final.
