Sounds right. Should all be back around same time with no World Cups or Euros
Footballers barely get a break these days. They play all the way until start of June if they are elite level and also international players. And then they have about four weeks off until pre season.
I guess they basically can’t stop because it would take so long to get back to form if they spent a month drinking and eating ice cream sundaes in pools.

Tbh I'm surprised there's little to no mental breakdowns with footballers.
No doubt some people will have the mindset that they aren't entitle to normal human emotions because they earn so much, but 11 months of the year at such a relentless schedule and the pressure to maintain a certain shape must be pretty intense for some.

There is, but one of my best freinds has tried literally every form of help he can get yet is still deeply depressed, he even went to take his own life last year but changed his mind in the 11th hour.
That's partly why it really annoys me when I see/hear comments like "they earn all this money are unhappy", not really on here per se but it's a common stigma in society.

He knew the club, and the squad well enough to know that whoever managed them last season was destined to fail. He is taking a risk by returning, as he has set the bar so high.
