First thing I would do if I was anywhere near the Tory party is fire all these strategic advisors. They lost the Tory majority (which arguably has contributed to the Brexit shltshow greatly) and now are making Boris look pathetic.

What is wrong with them seriously? Now more than ever we need a PM who is courageous and a fighter, not a pathetic coward. Even if this 'strategy' works to get Boris into No.10 his approval ratings across the country will be shockingly bad... and I thought the whole point of Boris was he was best placed to win a general election? Not anymore it seems

Every decision the Tories are making seems designed to get Corbyn into No.10. Its bizarre

I am pretty sure Ken Clarke will support a no confidence motion if BoJo is in charge. Also highly likely Dominic Grieve will join the Lib Dems.

Why does that matter?

Because as it stand there are 643 MPs in the house (technically 650 but Sinn Feinn do not show up and the speaker does not vote) and the Conservatives + DUP control 323 seats.

Only need to lose two to lose the house.
