Against bog standard teams he's always done well. Impressed is maybe a stretch. Main point still stands that he could have been given a proper run and we'd know more about him.

Salah looked rubbish according to most on here now look at him. Just feel any player needs a good 10-15 run to judge properly

I dont think he was too bad in his cameos tbh, grabbed a few goals and assists. i've said that on plenty of threads since he tore it up for liverpool.

The only thing i can say in defence of Zappa is that i though Emerson was rubbish, but in the small sample size of this season so far, he has impressed me, although he still has much to improve on

read it again He says that in defence of zappa. He thought emerson was rubbish, but has impressed him this year. So zappa could potentially (though I doubt it) do the same if given a chance.

Once James comes into the team, even if he doesn’t hit the ground running it may improve Azpi as he’ll feel that his spot is now actually under threat which he probably hasn’t felt in a few years.

And that’s not questioning Azpi’s professionalism as I would guess he’s one of the hardest workers in the team, but I reckon having that threat/competition would make a big difference. Hopefully anyway.
