Interviewer: "Are you going to send videos of your goals to Frank Lampard?"
Olivier Giroud: "No, no. He will surely see the matches. In any case, I am going back to Chelsea pumped up." http://bit.ly/GiroudLamp
The press really do love the international break to stir shet up.
Do any other team’s players get asked slimy c’nt questions like that every international break?
Looks like Barkley really does suit England well atm
Maybe he and Mount can fit into the same line up
Beating up on some farmers? Sure
He'd stomp the American ninja turtles mate
We're just a bunch of farmers
All time French top scorers after last night:
Henry: 51 goals
Platini: 41 goals
GIROUUUD: 38 goals
Never seen one man benefit so much from a manager’s love for him, and I guess also one of the best strikers of this generation falling out with the French FA helped him.
Well done Giroo. Shame he can't hit a barn door in the PL.
lol just looked giroud has only started 14 pl games for us. No wonder deschamps is a bit mythed. but like you say, if you can't score...maybe he needed a run in the side, but I dont think he has the pace for the pl league, and quite cultured for a big guy, so suits european football better.
You cant deny Giroud up top worked well as a foil for France
Hes probably the exact striker you want to allow Mbappe, Griezmann and co shine off him

yeah tbf hazard had some of his best stats with giroud playing too. HE's a great footballer tbf, and came close to scoring for us a lot more, the type of stuff tammy is seeing nestle in the corner atm. But it just didn't or hasn't worked out for him.

He’d be a top striker if he was more consistent and not incredibly slow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he is a bit too slow for the PL and I think this is why he struggles in this league, especially as he's got older. In general slower strikers don't thrive in the PL even if they can score goals in other comps like Giroud has done in the EL and international football. A move abroad in the summer would do him good and prolong his career.
