If Rudi isn't back anytime soon then we definitely need a new CB in Jan. A new LB as Azpi is not a LB and he upsets the balance there. Another goalie to give Kepa competition.
Doubt it's realistic to bring in all that in a January window but our defence isn't good enough. Plain and simple. And that's not a reaction to today, just look at how many we've conceded over the season. 1.5 conceded per game right ?
Our defence is crap.

I still think Kepa can be a very good GK, but he needs competition to keep his level up. But its hard to get no2 GKs who are good enough to provide genuine competition and also prepared to sit on the bench.

I'm interested to see what Lampard does for Lille.
Tomori should come back in. He and Zouma work far better as a pairing than Zouma and Christensen. Zouma especially looks much happier at RCB than LCB (basically the inverse of Terry).
Pulisic needs a rest but I really don't think Hudson-Odoi is good enough right now. So go with Mount and Willian wide and Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante as a midfield 3?
No idea what he does with the full backs. Azpi and Emerson? Seems harsh on James but I really don't like the idea of James and Emerson defensively.

I want to bring Tomori back in, but i wouldn't bring him back for Lille. Lille are not going to get many chances and Tomori makes a howler each game...we can't afford that in what is in effect a knock out game.

The most significant thing that Frank said during his post match interview to BT Sport was that we dribbled too much into the box and should have been shooting more....
