He needs Time Oscar
If your believed Liverpool said this about klopp in this first 6 months they wouldn't be where they are now
It's frustraiting but this isn't his team either and we are still comfortable in 4th
He has alot of deadwood to shift and players to bring in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shut up Mons I’m not even remotely losing faith in him I’m just making an observation. He’s not immune to criticism for a first season in PL and CL football he’s doing very well. But he’s not immune to criticism and has made mistakes which he is bound to, just hoping he learns from them and the club backs him and backs him in the market.
We need a LB, creative midfielder, RW & another striker then we at least are bang there on the team/squad front
And probably a goalkeeper Lol
Just mean one game it looks like we’ve solved the issues but then the next game it looks like back to square 1. We can’t win every game but we need to find some sort of consistency, we’ve lost what 5 out the last 7 games in the PL. we’ve been fortunate everyone else is a yo yo
lampard has said many times we are not clinical enough
the forward players are not doing what they need to be doing he needs to be able to shape the squad
case and point our two clear opportunities were squandered not because of tactics but because of the players not drving into the box and the chance petering out
we need and alternative to tammy and someone who can play with him up top
we need more direct players than willian, and CHO and pulisic need to play more and he needs a more effecting left back i cant watch azpi play too much longer the guy is so limited going forward but is more often than not the guy who has the most chances to get the ball in the box or create form wide areas
These are all things that can be fixed when lamps is given the opportunity to make the necessary signings
hard for him to do on a budget though and like always will require selling players
all of which will take time
my advice would be get behind lampard, realise that we cannot go and spend stupid money on players and that the collosal mismanagement of the club and its recruitment has led us to the point where we have probably 7 players that need to be moved on and the players replacing them need to be good enough to push for starting places.
if you think any manager in the world can change things drastically and keep an eye of forward planning you are mistaken

Himself and Willian should both be discarded within these two windows.

to my reckoning we have 60 - 80m to spend on players this jan as its stands based on previous years and thats not taking into account the current financial performance that was posted where we made a 90m loss
taking all into account As that stands at a very high level kova signing for £40m leaves us breaking even in terms of the financials where hazard was sold
in any case only twice in the last 7 years have we spent over 50m net and relied heavily on player sales to fund our activity
which is why i have never been entirely convinced we can even spend any money at all this year and will rely of cL qualification to set the budgets for the summer
only once did we go over 100m
which is why i have always said that players like Sancho are a pipe dream unless we sell alot of players

Sounds about right. We're not in a quick fix scenario. The club hasn't been run anywhere near as well as it could have for some time now and our transfer "policy" if you can even call it that has been lacking as well in that time.
We're now in a position to rectify these many issues but it's a process that's going to take a couple of seasons at least.
Patience and time with the manager is essential, especially considering the relative mess he's inherited and his relative inexperience which was fully accepted when he was approached for the role.
Can remember Liverpool fans were calling in TalkSport as little as a couple of years ago saying that they wanted Klopp out when Pool we're going through a bad spell. Yet look at the rewards that time, patience and good planning has brought that club. World, European and soon to be PL Champions.
Frank on Reece James and Alonso:
"He has got an injury to the back of the knee. Not as bad as it could have been. In contention for tomorrow, but we will decide tomorrow. He has had an injury at the beginning of the season. Hopefully he will be back tomorrow.
Yes, Alonso is back fit."

Its very difficult to accurately forcast the annual financial results of Chelsea FC.
We do know that the sales proceeds for Hazard were not included in the most recent figures, but we don't know the book valuation levels of the current squad and the rate of depreciation that the club uses.
If things continue as they are, Chelsea will have legitimate scope to increase the valuation of players such as CHO, Mount, Tammy, RJ and Tomori to more than offset one year's depreciation of valuations on Pulisic and Kovacic.
If the team by some miracle did get to the CL semis, i would speculate that next year's figures will be in a healthy profit
Is it a mental thing?
