Injured, not sure what he'll be like when he comes back

Was it knee ligaments?

I don’t see any evidence Onana is superior to Kepa really.

Saw RM had a keeper they may want to offload

T-bo’s having a blinder of a season
But in summary and just for you Gazza I don't trust Kepa and regardless of whether he stays or leaves this summer we'll need to bring in a top class keeper this summer imo.
Better if he leaves so that we can put all the money of his sale towards said new keeper.
If Loftus-Cheek can come back to being the player we saw in the second half of last season then he's going to be like a big money signing for us and will fill a creative, central attacking position we seriously lacking in right now.
looking less and less likely mate
This is facking amazing

Yeah big if obviously. Personally I have serious doubts but we have a great medical team with all the sports science that money can buy etc.

Not sure about unfair because he's been poor this season, statistically one of the very worst keepers in the top five leagues in Europe I believe.
I've just lost my trust in him and keeper is far too important a position to mess around with. We paid an excessive amount of money for him but that's not a reason to keep him being this season, we persevered with Torres for that same reason.
At the same time let's see how he does until the end of the season. Maybe he'll improve significantly. I doubt it but willing to see what happens. No other options right now anyway.

The only thing though I would say is he hasn't improved much last season though, his biggest floor is still controlling the area and coming to claim stuff, that doesn't seem to have improved at all

Maybe it was a mistake to spend £70m on Kepa. Maybe we should have let Courtis go, and had Caballero and an 18 year old Bulka as our options last season.
But he is here now, and there is enough I have seen from him to suggest he can be a very good player with a strong defence in front of him - which he hasn't had in either of his seasons.
Remember how crap Courtois looked in 2015/16 when he had underperforming players exposing him every game he played?
Also - plenty of sides win titles with less-than-world class keepers. Joe Hart, Fabian Barthez, Tim Flowers have been league winning goalies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True.....but he sort of has a few tags associated with him, you know like most expensive keeper ever blah blah blah
So 70m and less than world class doesn't really cut it imo, ok again down to the scouts I get that, cos tbh I had never heard of him
Think we panicked with the keeper situation when bringing Kepa in.
Alisson chose Liverpool
Oblak rejected us
We were desperate for a keeper so just paid the buyout clause on Kepa who I had never heard of.

He's one of the worst keepers in the league at shot stopping and should be replaced in the summer.

Not sure why it broke down
------
The suits tried to force the signing on Zidane, but he went public saying he was delighted with the squad he had and flatly refused to strengthen in January. Perez had to backtrack.
Zidane has done so much more for Madrid than he's generally given credit for. Still quite common to see people rubbishing him.
