People shaving their heads or having their missus cut their hair...lockdown has been a week mate not 2 years sort yourself out

----------------------------------------------------------------------
A furlough is the amount of a field a man and his ox with a plough can, um, plough in a working day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah...or possibly not
I always thought it was an americanised type thing
This is what gets me, we all do as government say etc keep inside keep social distancing yet these fkin pr!cks are still letting in flights everyday from likes of Italy China and Spain
This is the biggest risk to us

That makes an absolute mockery of the general public having to stay at home all day with many people losing their jobs and their livelihoods while the global economy starts to go down the toilet.
Everyone follow very strict social distancing rules and stay indoors all the time while we keep flying in tens of thousands of people every day from allegedly highly infected countries and let them straight in with zero checks. Not even a one second temperature check
Spain closing on italy's numbers rapidly
spain on course to be worst affected country, fackin hell man
Just been shopping after being self isolated for about 9 days in all
Pretty good actually...went to three shops, got everything we needed (even some paint) no queues...

That's a double negative. Belling 999 to tell them you wasted their time
If you call 999 to tell them that someone bought paint you're more likely to find yourself in trouble for wasting police time on what is a serious emergencies only line.

hows everyone keeping?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bored mate with no footie and no Euro 20 to look forward to. No Khabib vs Ferguson, no AJ vs Pulev, no Wimbledon. Nothing this spring or summer, unless we get some PL football. Seems unlikely.
Also confused as to why the government are still letting tens of thousands of people in every day from highly infected countries and not even testing them.
And when you consider that covid 19 was recently downgraded from being an HCID (high consequence infectious disease) it makes you wonder if the government think that this actually isn't a huge health threat despite all the scaremongering in the media.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid
If covid 19 is as incredibly dangerous as we're being lead to believe then anyone coming into the country should be under strict quarantine (or just tested at the very very least) and the government should still be classifying covid 19 as an HCID. That's not what's happening though, the complete opposite in fact. It doesn't add up.

I come here for football chat. Not more coronavirus stories. Sadly, it has been taken over.

I feel the same way. Don't get me wrong I know it's serious but I wish this page in particular isn't mainly about it.
