Top 4 isn’t gone, I expect Man Utd will overtake all of us and it’ll be us, Leicester and Wolves will be left scrapping for 4th and hopefully 5th.

Game management has been atrocious this season though. Sometimes you just have to take the point and move onto the next game. We’ve lost 10 games this season and only drawn 6. Lots of those have been songle goal losses through bad game management.

I'm kind of interested to see what Lampard does after tonight. He clearly settled on a back 4, a formation and a general set up that he liked (arguably for the first time this season). But he's tended to respond to bad losses by making changes immediately (in personnel, formation or both).

Will be interesting to see if Jorginho holding, Azpi at LB, Kante box to box are all brought back for Watford.

He needs to get that defense by the scruff. Bring in a top defence coach and sort them out

Tend to agree with that, consistency and aggression needed bigtime, Fairies all of them.

A defence coach can't help shiiit defenders. Neither can a keeping coach help a useless keeper.

Caballero should come back in, I've seen enough of Kepa.

Probably need Zouma vs these long ball/set piece teams.

Jorginho brings organisation and some leadership to the side, it's been very harsh that he's not featured at all.

I believe we've got enough in attack for next season with Ziyech and Werner.

We can't continue with this defence and keeper as we'll have to score 3 goals in most games for a win

Our defence and goalkeeper aren't good enough. Christensen doesn't remotely convince me and Rudiger must have known that the player was going to take it on his left, you could see that was his intention a mile off. Really dumb. I'm not sold on Rudi either even if he is our best CB, not that it's saying much that he is.

I don't think Rudiger is our best CB. The guy has had maybe a few good games this year, and in the others he has been really poor.

If we are going to invest in a CB for next season, either one of Zouma, Rudiger or Christensen should go.

I'd be happy to see all 3 go but obviously that's drastic.

I genuinely don't rate any of them and don't see them getting any better.

Likewise the keeper

Cech and JT would probably still get into our starting 11 ahead of what we have if they were still playing.

That made me sad

Pulisic playing well and winning us 2 great opportunities and Willian with a great pen and amazing free kick. Kante playing very well after a slow start back.

Only for our defense to completely blow it. So depressing.

I think he probably is but I didn't mean that as a compliment. Our CB's are pure junk. I have hopes for Tomori but he's still very young and a bit on the short side for a CB.

Personally I think that at least two of our CB's should be moved on this summer. Zouma and Christensen probably.

So we basically need 2 new CBs and a LB

Well that would be extreme.

I think it's half not having a good defensive coach and the half not having a very impressive CB.

None of them are bad, just none of them can command the defence.

On the basis of this year season. I would say both have given better performances than Rudiger. Which isn't saying much. I do have some sympathies for Rudiger because of his injury, but for me he has been the worst CB since coming back.
