You guys will absolutely smash Norwich. The result last night has left me in doubt we’ll get into the top 4 now. So fecking typical of us.

Norwich have been dire but this will be their first game since they were officially relegated. The threat of relegation that was hanging over them is now gone so the pressure is off the players. I wouldn't want to bet against them putting in an actually performance tonight.

You'll get top 4. People underestimate Southampton, they're a quality side and have picked up good results vs the top 6.

If Lampard is going to rotate, it has to be this evening.

I really hope that we don't go with Azpi at LB ever again. He doesn't look right there and it disrupts the balance of an already shaky back five.

Albeit Alonso should be fine vs Norwich

FA Cup is a bonus for me, I fully expect City to win it because they're not interested in the league right now.

Top 4 > FA Cup this season.

I'd like Frank to win a trophy next season.

I don't think we have much of a prayer winning the FA Cup this season. We might be able to beat one of Utd or City but not both in consecutive cup games. Not with this squad.

Top four should be the priority. Especially if it's the difference between the likes of Havertz joining or not this summer.

It has to be Alonso. He's not ideal at LB but he's the best option we have at present so I'd stick with him there until the end of the season.

give emerson a run against a crap side, if hes still crap get rid?

I think it's symptomatic of the fact that he inherited a squad that he hasn't been able to make any changes to despite being here for two transfer windows already. I doubt that either Alonso or Emerson are his cup of tea, hence the constant changing at LB.

I think lamps wants an ultra competetive squad and doesn't have that as of yet

I don't give a monkeys if he freezes out players that will ultimately leave like Emerson and Jorginho

Emerson has never shown anything of note Alonso far outweighs his contribution

If lampard picks the wrong team tonight though its really bad

Let's face facts here....we haven't got a best defensive line...we've got a collection of average defenders who do not work in any particular pecking order

Same in principle can be said of our midfield if we're being honest, - everyone has an idea of what out best three are

Then you can get into the Kante position argument as a tangent talking point

Frank doesn't know these answers, so why would we...just gotta hope Lamps can weedle the best he can muster from what he sees in training per opponent, and hope it's enough to see us in the CL

The FA Cup would be a huge bonus...i'd take a final defeat & CL myself
