Yeah it's difficult to see a side without Mount especially with the way he's played this season and he's quite important in how we play too.
But if we're signing Havertz it's difficult to fit them all in. Still believe Mount will get plenty of game time as there'll be injuries/rotation and settling in periods for the new guys. They may not be an instant hit and could take time to adjust.
Havertz Gilmour Mount
Ziyech Werner Pulisic
Mount has shown he can play in different positions too so no doubt he'll still have an important role.
We have plenty of options in the forward areas and there's good competition for those places.
We need to get the right balance in midfield too, I don't think we've had that much this season.
It's very worrying at the other end of the pitch though, that's where a lot of the improvements need to happen.
He (Mount) may not be a key starter but yeah I’m sure he’ll still have an important role
Where's all the news of the top class defenders we're buying...?

A Chelsea team with out Mount feels wrong after what he did for us this season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very hard to fit him in especially if we're signing Havertz. We'll just be too top heavy.
------------------------------------------------------
Admittedly don't know enough about Havertz, but unless he does specific things a specific ways Lampard will find room for Mount. I'll be very surprised if he gets sidelined.
He's to Lampard what Oscar was to Mourinho. That no.8 player that makes the 433 & 4231 practically interchangeable just by playing his natural game/he epitomizes that fluidity he likes in attackers. Honestly can see the reverse happening, with all this attacking flair coming in Mount will continue getting picked & it'll rub some people the wrong way - they'll be declarations he's 'Lampard's son' and the like
How Werner & Havertz will be utilized will be very interesting. I expect it to settle down in the second half of the season but up to the new year we'll be seeing a bunch of systems & player utilizations - defo expect to see a two up front toyed with as Lamps figures out Werner's role. The one I'm relatively comfortable predicting is Ziyech playing RW, doesn't have the frame to play centrally in the PL without being munched.
Yesterday should be the last time we see Mount playing out wide. So much better in midfield.

And if we can get top four this season with that defensive record then imagine what we can do with a half decent defence which would include a capable keeper.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We could also do with a manager that can set us up to defend better as well. His system/tactics have left our back 4 and keeper in all sorts of trouble throughout the season.
That’s not me saying Lampard out 😮
Can't believe tlll wants Lampard out
I can see Mount playing slightly deeper next year in a 4-2-3-1 alongside Gilmour, Kante or Kovacic with Havertz/ RLC playing the number 10 role.
I can’t picture Mount playing deeper that effectively. I don’t think the type of passing the best midfielders have comes naturally to him..
As in, weight of pass, passing range, accuracy of passing. His best moments usually come in final third. But still wouldn’t put it past him to continue to develop his game, and I know a lot of others see his future deeper so I could just be missing something!

BREAKING NEWS: WILLIAN CONFIRMS HE IS LEAVING WITH GOODBYE LETTER TO CHELSEA FANS
Goodbye and Good Luck Willy
They were seven wonderful years. In August 2013 when I received the offer from Chelsea, I was convinced that this was where I had to play. Today I am certain that it was the best of decisions. There were so many happy times, some sad, there were trophies and it was always very intense.
.
.
Yet, beyond the trophies, I learnt a lot about myself. I developed a great deal, becoming a better player and a better person. With each training session, with each game, with every minute spent in the dressing room, I was always learning.
.
.
I am really grateful to the Chelsea fans for the affectionate way they welcomed me at Stamford Bridge and their support throughout my time at the club. There was also criticism, which is normal, what is important though is that both the affection and criticism drove me to always give my all in every training session, every game, to be constantly improving until my very last minute in a Chelsea shirt!
.
.
The time has now come to move on. I am certainly going to miss my teammates. I will miss all the staff at the club who’ve always treated me like a son and I will miss the fans. I leave with my head held high, safe in the knowledge that I won things here and always did my best in a Chelsea shirt!
.
.
My heartfelt thanks go out to all of you and God bless you!

Because he was frustrating and inconsistent and as he said himself the criticism was deserved, but overall i thank him for the 7 years and for being a great servant no hard feelings, time has come on to move on and finally it's time
Looking out for himself. If someone's willing to give him a three year contract they'll regret going into year 2, certainly 3, more power to him
