Spurs
Been a great servant to the club but getting a new three year contract at the age of 32 was never realistic.
Hopefully his place in the team will be taken by a player who can score more goals than Willian usually does in a season.
Good servant to the club, he should have done more with his ability. Quite a frustrating player but definitely came up with some good performances in patches.
But yeah, it's time he moved on tbh. Turned 32 today, so good time to part ways. Just hope Ziyech can do better at RW and Cho can step up.

This season was actually Wiliian’s best return for us (and in his career) for league goals with 9

Barcelona? They tried to buy him on three separate occasions based on one performance
Willian enjoy your retirement at Arsenal

Aw, it’s been coming for a while but still feels weird he’s gone now. And does feel weird to lose him when you know he could probably be fine as a squad player for another year I think, but fair enough for not giving into the three year contract for him.
One of our longest serving players and certainly ranks highly if you were to rank our wingers over last 20 years. I did under-appreciated him I think his first 2-3 years, but when you think about it he is just a very talented player, he had more than a few almost Hazard-like games where he looked ‘untouchable’.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You were as bad as Oscar in those early years 😂 I think you were just plssed with the talent we lost because Jose put trust in Willian.
I expect a similar nice message when Alonso leaves.
Does anyone still believe this constant changing of the backline is okay and the way forward?
Think it'll be more consistent next season if we can buy a decent CB and a capable LB.
You would think so but Lamlars himself said he doesn't see it as beneficial.
He won’t have a choice though if we bring on players who are nailed on starters
It’s a good thing Willian agreed to extend his contract until nearly the end of the season. Would have been helpful in the cup final. Don’t think we’d have achieved 4th otherwise.
It’s also a clear example of why exiling players that won’t be here the next season is stupid. As long as the current season is still running, they’re still being paid by the club to play and they should be allowed to contribute.
Jorginho wasn’t amazing but he did his bit to contribute.

I have some sympathy as all of Zouma, Rudiger and Christensen have put in performances where you don’t want to see them play again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They've put in a whole season of this
