Tbh Superb we probably use similar commercial loopholes as City and PSG do
Yeah my understanding was wage bills can be heavily subsidised by the owners Gaz
If FFP was a serious proposal then a wage cap would have been far better
But it was really just a measure by the established elite to maintain their status forever

Spurs were helped by the fact that Mendes has ripped off Wolves for Doherty. Paid less than what they’ll sell Aurier for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Possibly but then Mendes has got Wolves some great players. They got Ruben Neves in the Championship.
Also Wolves with Covid and missing out on EL football, probably needed to raise some cash.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh I don’t have sympathy for Wolves - live by the sword, die by the sword. I’m sure they knew something like this was bound to happen.
Was talking about from Levy’s point of view. Lack of fans in the stadium hurts their income but they’ve been able to take advantage of a shady bargain, to make it less of an issue.
Do we all support the women's team?
Something that covid has affected is our Ability in getting rid of dead weight with good deals. Could have shifted out dwater/Barkley and others

Oh right
Does every club that Jose manages end up being controlled by Mendes?

Swear Raiola was way more important when Jose was at Utd

He put in £237m in 2018/19.
We recover a lot by turning accounting profits on our transfers most years.
I think (and I may be wrong) FFP only takes into account owner funding to make up shortfalls player transactions and other things are taken into account. Owners can put in as much money as they want to keep the lights on and staff paid etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? Where did you get the info about Roman putting in £237 million in one season ?
