I am slightly worried how he will cope if left isolated at the back against fast forwards, but that is (the lack of) our midfield’s fault.

It’s funny coz Bayern are famous for their super high pressing, but he didn’t do that in the CL final.
We played much better today than we did against Brighton. Brighton were also much better that day than West Brom were today.
Werner can also stop with the looking dangerous thing and actually put one away before his 10th game like Torres did plz
Torres didn’t look very dangerous before his goal though.
And a nice assist from Anelka
Remember the Sunderland game just before Torres joined, where Carlo tried a diamond in the hope of Drogba + Torres up front and Anelka was motm as the 10. That lasted like one game lol.
I hope Werner does well despite the fact that he rejected liverpool

Give the guy time too settle in.
Maradonas first season for Napoli wasnt all that grate.
Then he did....ok.
Hes kinda a big deal in certain places.
