Rudiger is not our worst CB though. He was our best CB for 2 years and I don’t see much evidence than AC is better. A loan doesn’t achieve anything.

Meanwhile there’s Tomori who actually would benefit from a PL loan. He’d be first choice at Fulham.

Shame we can’t bin Christensen

RLC should go to Fulham and Hudson odoi

I’d say In order of who we’d fare best under

Simeone
Allegri
Pochettino
Carlo
Benitez
-------------------------------------------------------
Pochettino might do some cool things with this team. Would be the most natural successor to keep the ideals of what Lampard's trying to do - fluidity, youth integration, etc...

Though tbh, I couldn't envision Roman hiring three managers in succession without a single trophy on their CV's. The day Lampard does get replaced, unless he's left something very profound behind the next guy's gunna have gold in his past.

what's the point loaning Rudiger. I can understand selling him.
otherwise should loan Tomori instead.

I was given to understand Tomori was going on loan anyway some weeks back...seems to be cemented in at CB now

Its the correct choice. Still hope/potential for Tomori. Can't see Rudi ever getting back to his pre-injury form at this point. Its actually quite sad.

Some thoughts from last night

frustrating that we couldn't see off a second string $pud side (even at their place)
Werners goal was lovely...but he was very average
Giroud was a pointless start
Mendy was promising
Kante was superb when he came on
Chilwell whilst not doing a great deal was very welcome as it meant Alonso wasn't on

Generally awful watch as a match...we need to look better v Palace or they will run us ragged

Oh...Werner needs to improve link up play too...dreadful at times

Harsh. Nobody is that bad. He just isn't solid anymore. I hope Ziyech and Pulisic don't have the same luck. Rudi, RLC and CHO...

Giroud was pointless without James. Our crossing is shlt to nonexistent without him on.

We had one gear and it was slow. That was definitely down to instructions from the manager. It also explains Chillwells hesitancy to get forward when thats one of his strengths.

Werner looks frustrated which tbh is understandable. Not being played in his best position, playing with players who don't pick out his runs, playing in a weak and conservative non attacking system. For me Frank needs to quit trying to be clever because tbh...hes proving to not be.

Well...we move it on to Palace on Saturday...we lose this & there will be repercussions

I can see Zidane managing us at some point, though I cant see it being after Lampard.

Not sure who would be a good choice if Lampard doesn’t cut it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We would surely go after Allegri or Pochettino.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because these two are currently out of work...?
