It is quite peak after winning player of the season he can’t fit into the team but something I was wary would happen. Who would you drop him for out of Jorginho and Kante?
Its the Lampard cycle
Player falls out of favour for seemingly no reason
Is like a missing person for a stretch of games maybe a couple of months
Gets rehabilitated and ends up starting again

Connection between defense and attackers, an ability to break through lines and take on players, still young enough to potentially improve his goal contribution.
Not to mention he was our player of the season last year. He's just a very good player. Sorry, I cannot provide you stats for this.

that kind of went under the radar a bit didn't it...He's a bit of a marmite player at times, when he's on it you'd struggle to see how he's not first pick..when hes not, it's easy to see why he's left out

My guess would be Gareth Barry or maybe David James.

David James holds (or at least did) the clean sheets records I think...broke it in a 0-0 draw for Pompey at Villa which I attended
