Saint Max is another... Can't see him staying at Newcastle if they get relegated
Our PL form is rather worrying
Last 6 games, 4 draws, 1 loss, 1 win
Doesn't get much easier in midweek with Brighton away.
Newcastle need some more signings by the looks of it
And Rafa wanting the sack losing to Norwich
And Rafa wanting the sack losing to Norwich

He really should stop trying to upstage former Chelsea managers, never ends well for him
Just watched that de bruyne goal again... And I have to say the step that kepa takes (for my money) is not going to to make any difference to whether he save that or not the goal is too good.
If you can’t tell why he should’ve done better, you need to watch more replays

No I don't... He had a pretty good game today... And as I said for my money there's not much he can do with that goal...Mendy probably doesn't save that either
Lol, the shot wasn't in the corner. Quite central and Kepa feet movement is wrong, he's in an awful position to save it with taking the wrong step to begin with.
He's always struggled with long range shots.
Mendy turns that shot round the post for a corner

Yep people are giving as much credit to KDB as well, as basically he does (and said this at the time of the goal) an almost equivalent of the Ronaldinho samba shuffle he done against us. KDB looks like he is actually gonna pass back across himself to a City player who is free to his left, that's where Kepa is going already. People who are just saying Kepa is out of position needs to watch what Kevin does, cos frankly it's brilliant.
He's got three players in front of him blocking that... And de bruyne has killed it
On the reverse side had he saved it it would have been brilliant... And rightly lauded as a world-class save
Now you could almost Pre expect that de bruyne is going to do that - but pre expecting it and doing something about it are two different things
Just read 6 reports on that goal today including the athletic - not one of them mentions kepa's position... It's all about the sublime goal

To be fair if that had been one of our goals the papers would blame the keepers position
It was clearly a good strike
But there’s a replay from behind the goal that shows it wasn’t right in the corner
And it shows that if Kepa hadn’t taken a step to his right as he hit it, he would have been able to reach it.
Plus Mendy is taller. It’s not a howler from Kepa but Mendy has made that kind of save for us before because he’s great. Like against Benzema. If he had been playing, he would have probably saved it.
I mostly blame the attack for the loss today. But if Mendy had been available today we probably would’ve scraped a draw.
Last two games vs City have not just been poor from us but also pretty dull affairs
Stark contrast to Tuchel's games vs Pep last year

First game was largely due to the Lukaku misfit IMO, today he was also a factor but the bigger issue was no Mendy, Chalobah, Christensen, James, Chilwell so I think that hindered their courage to play with freedom
Got dominated at the Bridge, had 0 shots on target. Were far too passive in the game. Also had Azpi and Alonso WBs that day as Reece got injured early on.
Today was a pretty dull affair, we fluffed our few openings as expected with our hopeless attackers. The only moment of quality from City resulted in the winner.
Our premier league form is a worry. I didn't want us to be dragged in a top 4 race with the other clubs.
Nah top 4 won’t be an issue, the others are much worse than us. Fixtures aren’t too bad from here on, both games against City and Liverpool out of the way as well
Yeah we should still be confident about finishing above Utd and Spurs
And Arsenal really shouldn’t strike fear
We are getting a lot of our flat track players back now
Should be fine with Pool and City done
Kind of sad that in a year we were talking about challenging for the title we only took 2 points from the title favourites
