Rice is going to cost the earth though. And unless Lukaku turns his season around I don't see us spending £100 million + on another player anytime soon.

100% - been on the Bissouma train for a while. Knows the prem, very good technically, strong on the ball, good age and won't be too expensive either. Doesn't always need to be a marquee buy (not that that's even a guarantee of success in our case)

Honestly my only issue with him is the whole prison thing

He’d be good alternative to Kante

If we don't get Rice, I think we'll go for Tchouameni rather than Bissouma

Given Everton’s expectations probably for top 6-8 despite their terrible squad (for the money they’ve paid) don’t see Lampard elevating them to that level, I think he’s be more suited at a club like Brighton and Soton for now like someone you could trust to probably not get you relegated while also gelling together a group of young players

Brighton seems like a very nice job for him. Kinda like with us he'll only have to tweak the previous managers tactics (which is good cos it's a weakness of his) and focus more on coaching. And Potter will get poached soon, maybe even by Everton.
