When they put an over the top through ball, and you want your player to let it bounce then run onto it, but he tries to control it and stumble letting their player get through on goal.

I play a long, floating cross-field pass to Glen Johnson. The pass is about a yard to his side but he's to lazy to move to the ball = throw-in for the opposition.
