Jonty, you can forget about the tennis but one thing is guaranteed that it will another slugfest. They both are similar kind of players although Nole has more variety in his game and he goes for winners too. Nadull as usual will be playing low percentage game and try to retrieve everything. This is one final which could be given a miss as well.

I take it you won't be watching or commenting on it then.

If we get anything like the US or Aus Open finals I think we're in for a treat.

the problem with the french open is that nadal will definitely win and no shock will happen.

I agree Jonty. Can't wait.

Wow, why don't you just go out for the day on Sunday and spare us all your whining about the slugfest.

Nan, I hope you are right, but I am not so sure. Novak has this way of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. But then, it is against Rafa and a rejuvenated Rafa at that.

Whatever. I'm going to enjoy the match and may the best man win. Hopefully the best man will be Rafa.

Are u saying that it will not be a slugfest? Did you not watch the AO final? How many times did nadull come at net in 5 hours? He has been one trick pony, it's another thing that he managed 10 slams with that.
I will watch the final, if Nole wins the first set as nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing nadull lose.

Djokovic will raise his game on Sunday and will be very difficlut to put away, however if Nadal plays like he did today I can see only one winner

Nadal in 4

75 64 46 63

He is an absolute monster on this surface.

Hei tennisfan and thanks for the nice birthday hug and that's one back to you.
Had a lovely time out in our little town Stavanger and now back home and funnily enough watching a rerun of Rafa v Ferrer, and all I see is Rafa hitting backhand crosscourt winners, running forehand down the line winners and a wonderful backhand overhead smash winner which ain't easy to do.

And after running Ferrer around ragged he finishes the match off with a lovely forehand cross court winner. Astonishing play and watching him wipe the floor with djokovic is going to be a right laugh, especially on here

As much as I like Nadal, Djokovic has to win this to achieve career grand slam. cmon nole!!!

do you like feds?

Not really a fan of their games. Over the years I was never a fan of Rafa's tennis and was hoping that someone would dislodge him by playing aggressively but with sufficient amount consistency. I was in fact thinking that Djoko might be the man. However, I was somewhat disappointed last year when I saw how Nole did it - by beefing up his defensive game to the point it became as good as Rafa's rather than by dismissing him through aggression.

Nevertheless, no denying they are the best two in the business nowadays and they both belong in the final. I also think that it will likely not be as easy for Rafa as some think. In fact, I think that - in spite of what is being said about Rafa's form - the 2011 Djokovic would have easily better than 50% chance. However, 2012 Djokovic does not seem to be quite the same, so I do give an advantage to Rafa but think it could be quite tight on Sunday.

Wow, yes I watched the whole of the AO and I enjoyed every minute. I didn't count the amount of times that Rafa came to the net. I was too busy enjoying the sight of two fantastic players battling it out in an exciting match full of drama.

Now as I said, don't watch it if you don't like this type of game. But please stop whining like a little girl. Goodness, you're not a little girl are you?!? If you are, my apologies and you just carry on.

What I find interesting is folk complaining about players or style of play.....yet they're still going to watch the match!

" battling out from the Bashline"!
I will only be watching if Nole starts to thrash nadull- the one trick pony. I will also be relieved when this boring clay season will get over and like rafa all his fan girls will disappear too.

I will probably watch it in bits and pieces but it's not something which I will be anticipating. Rafa's tennis is boring and irritating too. Rafa will be wiping his legs, adjusting his crotch, tuck his thong, adjust hair, bounce 20 times. Have fun with that boring tennis.

wow, could I ask why you will be watching something that you find 'boring' and 'irritating'?

Why are you going to watch that, surely you must have better things in life to do?

Why should I not watch it? I paid for the internet and satellite connection. I like watching tennis. If I watch it doesn't mean that now I can't express my dislike for it. Why should I stop watching tennis which I have been doing for decades? I have seen some of the greatest players, some of the greatest skills and some of the most most beautiful tennis. If I don't get to see those, I'll have my complain about it. I want some changes in tennis. And I hope it will be soon. I see the some of the current percentage tennis and I appreciate how great tennis was earlier till it was a sport. Now its a business entirely and which makes me feel bad. "Stars" of the game are openly favored and it makes a mockery of the game.

Quite right and enjoy watching an expert at work.

I hope you will still be watching the final as we moved half way through the final set ( the third set ) though

You and your gang are going to be put through the mill a little tomorrow. You hate the guy, and he is going to win

VAMOS RAFA NADAL
