Carr is a true professional, and for a relatively 'older' player he really does show up some of the money-grabbing so-and-so's, not only in attitude but also in pace.

I for one hope that his career continues long and true.

I can't say I'm thrilled at the news did he play a league game last season? won't still be in the top 5/6 earners I bet I'd have rather went for a different right back on a free plenty out there unless he is involved in back room staff now.........

Its hard to think of a better right back than S Carr , who have played for us ,others more classy, maybe , his runs down the wing give us another dimension ,he was great for us until his injury ,he reminds me ofJ Hall for his great effort and leadership , its great news. kro

Mackem I understand your reservations but if he is back fit we couldn't sign a better right back than Stevie Carr.

If we can keep him for a couple more years we won't have to pay him,as the Government's pension scheme will kick in soon!
