Another win against the Phillies last night, walk off single for DW5 (4 RBI's). The guy is having an absolutely incredible season.

Also the impact Tejada has had since coming off the DL has been brilliant. Batting.329 this year so far. That along with Murphy's resurgance recently has been why we've not managed to slump whilst the power hitters (Ike and Duda) have struggled.
In all fairness Ike has recovered recently and his double is what began the 9th! Very happy though a great win over the Phillies, especially after Dickey struggled a little.
True about Ike, if they can get going, this team is a contender for sure.

Watched it on Gameday as I will be for the Cubs series!
Need a sweep really, going into the all-star break 10 games over .500 would be awesome.
Not good enough really from our starters in recent games!
Cant afford to drop 4 out of 6 against this Cubs team.
Shame for Jon Niese, seemed to be really finding his feet recently as well.

seems the 2013 season going the same way the others
only bright spots seems to be Harvey & wheeler
Hopefully Mets can become contenders in a few years, have the young talent and by the look of Syndegaard we could have a strong rotation going forward with Harvey and Wheeler as you said!
Mikel= I hope the mets can became contenders they seem to hve some good youngters but i'm not sure Collins is the right coach to take them the next step that they need to take we need some body in the mould of Tommy Lasorda the old dodgers coach

SP; Niese, Colon, Wheeler, Gee, Meija
1B; Duda/Satin platoon
2B; Murphy
SS; Tejada
3B; Wright
LF; Chris Young
CF; Lagares
RF; Granderson
Bullpen will be a mix and match between the guys left over from last year and any veterans that Sandy Alderson can pick up off the free agency.
Should get us closer to .500, but we haven't made the step forward we needed to.
