There are/were still some doubters. There were some Leicester fans speaking on here only a few months ago that were still saying he wasn't as good as Vardy or Deeney.

i've certainly seen scousers refer to sturridge - who isn't even good enough for their own manager apparently - as "the best striker in england", as recently as 4-6 weeks ago

this is true.
interestingly, i think today's game puts kane on 62 PL goals in 102 games, with the first 3 of those games played on loan, as a 19 year old, at norwich; suarez, by way of comparison, managed 69 in 110, torres 65 in 102 (when at liverpool).
kane is right up there with the very best, and at the age of 23 too.

Yes it is. City may have thrashed the Bubbles in the cup but they are vulnerable in the PL: I'm going for a Spurs win up there as now I'm more confident, I don't know why you can't see that, unless you're just a to$$er..

The score suggests the form doesn't it? We need to be in good form to beat City and had it stayed 2-0 I wouldn't have been confident but now, well, this result against the team 8th in the PL tells me we are in the right form to beat them.

Changed my FF captain from Kane to Dele Alli before kick off.
Had it not been for that series of silly draws we'd be top.
No two ways about it, Spurs are on fire. I predicted 3-0 to you boys today, 4-0 doesn't surprise me at all.
