Hounslow, everytime the ball went high into the box, I was shutting my eyes. I missed the West Ham goal, my eyes were still shut.
Just drawn Arsenal away, so I was right, Spurs will be going out.
How come Arsenal and Chelsea always get home draws. They are such a lucky teams. They never ever get drawn away in cup competitions.

Well tbf it’s done us a favour being away again
I'm not averse to giving a few of the second string a chance in cup matches against weaker sides but it has to be full strength for the Arsenal match. I will be very annoyed if its not.

What`s with all the pikeys keep running on the pitch. Surely West Ham should have the ground shut or be made to play behind closed doors for a game or two. The Security over there must be rubbish.

That's not too bad actually. We could afford to rest players against Burnley, I very much doubt we will though.
If Spurs are to win the League Cup, it will mean they will in all probability have had to beat Prem sides in every round. Third draw, third Prem side.

They get the odd away game, but 90 per cent of their domestic cup games are against cannon fodder at home.
There will be the usual bull about security meaning we will not get the full allocation an away team should.

What suddenly happened to your optimism Sandy? Why were we good enough to win the league but not good enough to win this cup?
Yes it looks like a tough route to the final but anything can happen. City lost to Wigan in the FA Cup last season.
Out of Arsenal, Chelsea and City of the big teams, Arsenal are the most beatable for us.
