Sprus form has been shocking since the New Year, so not really surprising. But to lose without a fight was shameful really.

We always have too many mistakes in us. That's the difference between us and Liverpool.

Our defence always looks under pressure, when they are under no pressure. Needless corner given away, and then we do not defend it properly, then we give away a goal. It has happened so many times this season.

We are seriously lacking up front now. We just are not scoring enough goals. Another blank, as against Bournemouth, City, West Ham etc. Huff and puff and go nowhere football. No real team play, just hit and hope stuff.

Never looked like scoring did we?

Passing was just appalling all game

We're really doing our best to be the Arsenal team during that period where they won nothing for 10 years but kept getting top 4. Now we've replicated their CL final loss.

No doubt people will have a go at Poch, but he's done a good job and got the most out of a team with a stubborn chairman.

Cannot blame Poch at all tonight, he put the players on he pitch, then they strolled around as if they didn`t care. The complete lack of tempo against a woeful Liverpool side was what annoyed me.

Oh well. We were the better team. The rules are destroying the game. Well done Liverpool.

We just need to spend to improve the squad, and that in turn may get more out of other players. I can't help but feel Origi for them has stepped up his game when he's come on because of the competition for his place from all the recent spending.

Totally impressed with our existing team. Phenomenal ball control throughout. Need to work on scoring goals is all. Great game. The bad decisions are a farce. Like Son for instance.
