Norwich winger Onel Hernandez may need surgery on a knee injury he sustained slipping and falling at home.

Canaries manager Daniel Farke said the 26-year-old Cuba international has suffered a suspected ACL injury and "is out for three months".

Hernandez is one of a number of Norwich players sidelined with Timm Klose, Josip Drmic and Christoph Zimmermann also unavailable for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle.

Peter Fonda, the star, co-writer and producer of the 1969 cult classic Easy Rider, has died at the age of 79.

In a statement, his family said he suffered respiratory failure due to lung cancer, and died peacefully at home in Los Angeles.

Peter Fonda was part of a veteran Hollywood family. As well as being the brother of Jane Fonda, he was also the son of actor Henry Fonda, and father to Bridget, also an actor.

Richard Williams, the Oscar-winning animator who worked on the hit film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, has died aged 86.

Williams, who was born in Toronto but moved to the UK in the 1950s, won two Oscars and a Bafta for his work as animation director on the 1988 film, which starred Bob Hoskins.

The triple Oscar and triple Bafta winner also worked on two of the Pink Panther films and Casino Royale.

Williams died at his home in Bristol on Friday, his family announced.

A massive fire has swept through a slum in the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, leaving 50,000 people homeless.

About 15,000 homes were destroyed in the Chalantika slum late on Friday.

Many homes had plastic roofs, which helped the flames to spread. No deaths have been reported, although several people were injured.
