Cedric Itten scored on his Switzerland debut in a win over Georgia which simplifies the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2020 qualification hopes.

The Republic will qualify if they beat Denmark in Dublin on Monday (19:45 GMT) - unless Switzerland are held by Gibraltar, in which case the Irish would need to win by two goals.

Live insects will not be eaten in this year's I'm A Celebrity, in a "permanent" change to the reality TV show.

I'm A Celebrity has previously been criticised for using live bugs in its 'bushtucker trials'.

Some tasks on the ITV show have included insects being eaten alive or dumped onto contestants.

The stars could still be covered in bugs during filming in Australia but any eaten will already be dead.

John McGinn's fourth goal in two Scotland games secured a morale-boosting victory in Cyprus and moved Steve Clarke's side above their hosts into third in Euro qualifying Group I.

But it came after an early let-off when Georgios Efrem's shot hit the crossbar and appeared to land over the goalline.

Ryan Christie curled home a wonderful finish for his first Scotland goal before Efrem volleyed a fine leveller.

McGinn's close-range strike earned the first back-to-back wins under Clarke.

Wales eased to a comfortable win in Azerbaijan to ensure their bid to qualify automatically for Euro 2020 will go down to the wire.

Kieffer Moore headed the dominant hosts into an early lead, which was doubled when Harry Wilson nodded into an empty net after Daniel James' fierce swerving shot rebounded off the crossbar and post.

Wales maintained their control in the second half and, although Moore and Wilson missed the best chances to extend their advantage, it mattered little as Ryan Giggs' side coasted to victory.

If Slovakia fail to win away against Croatia in Group E's other game later on Saturday, Wales will qualify automatically with victory over Hungary in their final fixture in Cardiff on Tuesday.

The N.Ireland team were never realistically expected to get automatic qualification from this tough group. Whoever they face in the play offs I dought will be stronger than the Dutch and Germans so theres still a strong possibility the men in green can make those finals next year, and as an Englishman I wish them all the best, O Neill desearves it. Hes done a superb job with his National team.

Sri Lanka's former wartime defence chief Gotabaya Rajapaksa looks set to win a presidential election that has split the country along ethnic lines.

Official results are not confirmed but Mr Rajapaksa claimed victory and his rival Sajith Premadasa conceded.

Analysts say Mr Rajapaksa was the clear victor in Sinhalese majority areas while Mr Premadasa scored better in the Tamil-dominated north.

Cristiano Ronaldo was made to wait for his 100th international goal as defending champions Portugal edged past Luxembourg to qualify for Euro 2020.

Fernando Santos' 2016 winners required victory to confirm second spot in Group B and finish three points clear of Serbia, who drew 2-2 against Ukraine.

Ronaldo tapped in his 99th goal to seal victory with four minutes remaining.

Bernardo Silva's ball over the top had allowed Bruno Fernandes to fire the visitors ahead after 39 minutes.

That last victory came as he defended the Abu Dhabi Invitational in January 2018. Since then, Fleetwood has had three runners-up finishes, including at the 2018 US Open to Brooks Koepka, and at this year's Open to Shane Lowry at Royal Portrush.

Akinfenwa, 37, was left unmarked to head in Jacobson's deep free-kick for his 50th goal for the Chairboys.

Three minutes later left-back Jacobson - on his 33rd birthday and 500th career appearance - netted from the spot after David Wheeler was fouled in the box.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen passed Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes twice to take a brilliant victory in a gripping Brazilian Grand Prix.

Behind him, the race developed into a dramatic finale as Hamilton collided with Red Bull's Alexander Albon, and Toro Rosso's Pierre Gasly held off the Mercedes for second place as they crossed the line.

Perhaps most dramatic of all was a few laps before the end as Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel collided with team-mate Charles Leclerc causing both to retire, in a move which could have far-reaching consequences.

It was a remarkable end to one of the most incident-packed races in recent memory. "What a race!" Verstappen said, summing it up perfectly. "Loved it."
