Paul Harvey Aurandt (September 4, 1918 – February 28, 2009), better known as Paul Harvey, was a conservative American radio broadcaster for the ABC Radio Networks. He broadcast News and Comment on weekday mornings and mid-days and at noon on Saturdays, as well as his famous The Rest of the Story segments. From 1952 through 2008, his programs reached as many as 24 million people per week. Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, 400 American Forces Network stations, and 300 newspapers.

Jean-Marie Faustin Godefroid "João" de Havelange (8 May 1916 – 16 August 2016) was a Brazilian lawyer, businessman, athlete and centenarian who served as the seventh President of FIFA from 1974 to 1998. His tenure as President is the second longest in FIFA's history, behind only that of Jules Rimet. He received the title of Honorary President when leaving office, but resigned in April 2013.

Everton have sacked manager Marco Silva after 18 months, with the club in the Premier League relegation zone after their Merseyside derby humiliation.

Wednesday's 5-2 defeat by Liverpool at Anfield was their ninth of the season and leaves them 18th in the Premier League after three successive losses.

Silva, who took charge in May 2018, won 24 and lost 24 of his 60 games.

Christine Barford (also Archer and Johnson) is a fictional character from the British BBC Radio 4 soap opera, The Archers. The character was introduced as the sister of Phil Archer in 1951, and the daughter of Dan and Doris Archer. The character was a skilled horsewoman, who for many years ran the Ambridge riding stables. British actress Lesley Saweard has played the role since 1953. As of 2019, Saweard has played the role for 66 years, making her the longest-serving soap opera actor in the world.

Patricia Calton (née Yeldon; 19 September 1948 – 29 May 2005) was a British Liberal Democrat politician who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Cheadle in Greater Manchester.

She was first elected at the 2001 general election, with a 33-vote majority over the sitting Conservative MP Stephen Day. She held her seat in the 2005 general election with a majority of 4,020 votes over Stephen Day, despite being too ill with cancer to campaign personally. She died less than four weeks later, although she was sworn in as an MP five days before her death. She also stood at the 1992 general election and the 1997 general election. She had previously been a deputy leader of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.

Award-winning American actor Ron Leibman, famed for playing Rachel Green's overbearing dad in the sitcom Friends, has died at the age of 82.

His agent said the cause was pneumonia.

While best known for his role in the US sitcom, Leibman had a decorated career in TV and film spanning six decades.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still believes they are a bigger club than Manchester City.

City are well placed to finish above their rivals for a seventh successive season, which has not happened since the 1930s.

The Blues have won three Premier League titles since the last of United's 20 successes in 2013.

Asked before Saturday's Manchester derby whether he still regarded United as being bigger, Solskjaer said: "Yes."
