Liverpool are set to let Adam Lallana leave in the summer when the England midfielder's contract runs out.

There are no talks taking place between the European champions and the 31-year-old over a new deal and he will be available on a free transfer.

Lallana, who has been linked with Leicester City, moved to Anfield for £25m in 2014.

He was signed from Southampton by then-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who is now in charge of the Foxes.

Lallana has played 13 times for Liverpool in the league this season, scoring once.

Moyes got team selection wrong. Start with a strong attack, perhaps Bowen, Haller, Anderson etc and they could have nicked a goal early on, with the stress City are under, who knows what could have happened?

Den Watts is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by actor Leslie Grantham. He became well known for his tabloid nickname, "Dirty Den".

Den is the original landlord of The Queen Victoria pub. He has a stormy love-hate relationship with his alcoholic first wife Angie (Anita Dobson). After nearly 19 years of marriage, he hands divorce papers to her in the 1986 Christmas Day episode that was watched by more than half of the UK population at the time. He is also involved with the criminal gang known as The Firm that eventually leads to an attempt to kill him in 1989.

This is believed to be successful, but Den returns to Walford in September 2003. Seventeen months later, his character was killed off again – this time for good – at the hands of his manipulative second wife Chrissie Watts (Tracy Ann Oberman), though not before she ends up destroying his relationship with his devotedly adopted daughter: Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean). Den's last appearance was on the 20th anniversary of both the show and the character's first episode.

His character has been described by EastEnders executive producer Louise Berridge as being arguably one of the most iconic soap characters ever.

Africa was chosen as the host for the 2010 World Cup as part of a short-lived rotation policy, abandoned in 2007, to rotate the event among football confederations. Five African nations placed bids to host the 2010 World Cup: Egypt, Morocco, South Africa and a joint bid from Libya and Tunisia.

The winning bid was announced by FIFA president Sepp Blatter at a media conference on 15 May 2004 in Zürich; in the first round of voting, South Africa received 14 votes, Morocco received 10 votes and Egypt no votes. South Africa, which had narrowly failed to win the right to host the 2006 event, was thus awarded the right to host the tournament. Campaigning for South Africa to be granted host status, Nelson Mandela had previously spoken of the importance of football in his life, stating that while incarcerated in Robben Island prison playing football "made us feel alive and triumphant despite the situation we found ourselves in". With South Africa winning their bid, an emotional Mandela raised the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Fraser Forster's dramatic late penalty save ensured Celtic's away goal gives them a narrow advantage after their Europa League last-32 stalemate in Copenhagen.

Odsonne Edouard earned Neil Lennon's team a deserved lead in the first leg before the hosts launched a second-half surge.

Dame N'Doye levelled before Forster acrobatically denied Jens Stage from the spot after a VAR penalty check.

The return is in Glasgow next Thursday.

Edouard's 24th strike of the season was the first away goal Celtic have scored in the knockout stage of a European competition since Henrik Larsson's winner against Boavista in 2003.

June Brown has decided to quit EastEnders after 35 years playing Dot Cotton, saying she was dissatisfied with some of her recent storylines.

The actress, 93, has bowed out of the soap after more than three decades- but an EastEnders spokesperson has insisted the door is open for her to return.

Speaking on the Distinct Nostalgia podcast, June said: 'It’s almost as if I’ve been bereaved. I don’t want a retainer for EastEnders, I’ve left. I’ve left for good.

Hosts Australia were stunned by India in the opening game of the Women's T20 World Cup in Sydney.

Chasing 133, the defending champions were bundled out for 115 thanks chiefly to leg-spinner Poonam Yadav, who claimed 4-19.

India's 132-4, anchored by 49 not out from Deepti Sharma, seemed no more than par, but they exploited the slow conditions to win by 17 runs.

England open their campaign against South Africa on Sunday.

Like caviar, Casu Marzu is enjoyed only by a select population. That's because it's served with live maggots.
It does have a fan base in Sardinia, Italy, where sheep farmers for centuries have made pecorino cheese and left it to rot and attract flies. When the flies' eggs hatch, the transformation takes place and the cheese becomes Casu Marzu.
It's then consumed with relish or perhaps trepidation -- it has an aftertaste that lasts for hours. Gordon Ramsay called it "the most dangerous cheese in the world."
