It was a smart move keeping the SOO and Kangaroos seperate from the NRL 26 rounds.
SOO is huge in Australia and gets massive T.V ratings, particulary on the east coast but even non R/League fans tune in to watch the fastest 80min of footy in OZ.
I can tell you, it's not nice coming across Queenslanders at present with them up 7 - 0 over the last 7 years.....half of my nephews and nieces are from the north and give me a hard time of it when we visit them...and every pub we enter...

Roll on another year with big Mal...QLD are underdogs. The refs are influenced by the NSW media. They took one of our home games away...yawn
At least the NRL (Commission) have taken away the opportunity of Q'landers stealing our local products to a degree....not before time either..
