He was my Man of the Match today. Brilliant offensive and defensively.
excellent weren't he and gives us extra options on both full back positions.
He has impressed of late, at first I didnt think he was up to it at LB.
I`d like to see him in his favourite position at RB, Walker needs a rest and some competition. Hopefully when BAE returns he can fight with KW for the RB berth.
Pretty impressed with him in recent matches, what he lacks in physical strength and pace (in comparison to Walker) he makes up for with intelligent play and strikes a very good balance between offensive and defensive play.
it'll be interesting to see the two Kyles battle it out for the RB spot when Benny's back.
I'm worried about Benny. Surely he should have made the bench by now?
I agree Benny, where is he? Someone else posted on here earlier today saying that AVB'S doesn't like him. Hope that's not the case, I know he divides opinions but I think we've missed him fizzing those balls down the left and look forward to seeing him play again
Naughton - a right footed player - playing at LB and doing very well. Walker - a right footed player - playing at RB and playing like a 3 legged donkey at times, a sloppy moment every game. It's just about time BAE returns, so we can start playing a more stable RB in his natural position
I honestly think Walker's legs are too quick for his brain to keep them under control.
Naughton was brilliant today.
If his fitness is progressing, I expect to see BAE at least in the Coventry game.
I trust AVB will let Naughton get his chance at RB once BAE is back in the fold.
If only for the effort he has put in fire-fighting at LB.
Will he get the rb position when BAE returns?
Will he get the rb position when BAE returns?
I'm honestly worried he won't return and will be gone in Jan.
Naughton has to. It's evident to everyone that Walker has been p11ss poor this season. Last season Corluka got dropped for Walker for doing a lot less wrong, Walker is not irreplaceable in that position and has had one too many sloppy performances this season.
Benny, BAE will return mate AVB wants his strongest LB 100% fit, so cannot risk rushing him back.
"Will he get the rb position when BAE returns?"
As I said, he has earned the chance purely on his LB efforts.
If Walker raises his game to something like last season as a result, fair enough.
The progression of the squad is that apart from your WC (G00n TM) players, in EVERY position, nobody should be a shoe-in.
BaLennon, Hope you're right pal
I genuinely think he'd be an asset in the current team and make our starting XI stronger.
Naughton has surprised me, I too did not think he would make it, but he was absolutely brilliant today. Great to have options at left back now.

Ironically, Spur last season said he may not want to return from loan (issues with Arry +/- not getting starts) . And yet, here the boy is, helping the cause thru a sticky patch in not his best position.
I reckon Benny will get a run out against Coventry. I am sure if he was fit he would be in contention.
