Without seeing the game, the score indicates Salford took the game right up to Leeds and should be pleased with themselves.
A couple of smart purchases and Salford will have a very good team for 2012.
If they can manage to get hold of Shannon McPherson who was heading to the Crusaders next season he will help out in the forwards no end.
Couldn't get to the Willows, but listened on radio. Sounded like Leeds steam-rollered them for large parts, but Salford fought back. In recent years, the Reds would've just given up. Good to see them show some fighting spirit, even when the game seems lost. Agree with South - adding a couple of big names should make them quite a competitive side next year.
