Wasn't blaming Wenger. Just hoping that signing a player like Lichtsteiner (if we do) doesn't turn into another Debuchy scenario.

Lichsteiner would be a decent signing

I think we are on hold on the transfer front till Emery assesses his squad. I would think he is meeting all the players one on one and will be making initial assessments based on individual drills and video. Emery has already said he intends to implement a high energy midfield working behind the striker. IMO its the key to Liverpool and Man City midfields. Shame we sold Walcott and Oxlade. They would both have been handier than Xhaka, Wilshere and Ozil.
