13/14 Ramsey played in a 2 with Arteta and won more tackles and made more interceptions than any other Arsenal player despite missing half the season. He was perfect for the balance for the team and as a bonus scored a load of goals on top of it.

Ever since then the glory got to his head. Now nobody thinks he’s even capable of playing in CM anymore. He either plays as a 10 or inside forward and he’s no good in either position, just less of a liability to us defensively

If he can’t be trusted to play in a role that got him all that credit so long ago then it’s a complete no brainer that he isn’t of much value to us

Welbeck on the other hand needs to be given another contract if he is alright with his role and demand a reasonable wage.

Yep would give Welbz a new deal but reckon he will leave for regular 1st team football

I can't think of every game he's been influential. But he has been very important. Granted in patches and nothing like the consistency he showed in 2013-14.

If you're asking me if i can justify his ridiculous wage demands then i can't. But i'd like to have seen him grow under Emery. Learn a but more about the discipline in his role (which is CM imo). Learn to be less selfish and more creative in his play.

I can see him get to that next level with another club.

Emery hasn’t played him CM once. He knows Ramsey can’t play there anymore. He obv sees him in training every day probably taking shots from the halfway line and doing pirouettes in his own box hoping it goes up on Arsenal’s Instagram account

Emery ain't perfect. Otherwise he would have kicked Xhaka out the squad long ago.

At least he has improved Xhaka’s performances

Not saying Xhaka is good enough or anything but I’ve been able to tolerate him for the last few weeks.

If he can improve players like Xhaka, Mustafi, Iwobi and Welbeck yet give up on Ramsey then it obviously shows he’s not up to it

Ramsey is a good player and you see he has a special talent. We saw yesterday that he can produce moments of magic. To lose such a player isnt easy and here I can see what Seebo means.

We thought as well losing Sanchez would be a disaster. He was great at Arsenal even in his last games he was capable to produce something special.

Ramsey is not consistent to suggest he deserve the money he demands. Would prefer he stays at Arsenal but we move on as we always did.

Maybe, in a way that lamppost would also be an improvement on him

Ramsey was once what Matteo is today. I don't know why but he is walking about the pitch. He must have it in him shown by the goal where he did cover a lot of ground and carried the ball forward at pace. But generally he is jogging.

In defence of Seebs, while he rates Ramsey as one of the best. It doesn’t mean that he rates Ramsey as some ridiculously exceptional talent - it is just that the standard around him over the last few years has been poor.
