Would be feckin sad if Hleb put the performance of his life after I spent the afternoon slagging him off.

All jokes apart, it's actually quite nice going into a last 16 European match feeling like we've a chance of progressing.

Could actually get used to it.

Luckily with self-sustaining Stan at the helm, we might have to

I blame the bad result on your negative vibes - Lexington.

Well, it might not drag that long for us......

Emery says he is not shocked by the result tonight & that next week will be different. Says #afc beat Huddersfield without Ozil so they didn’t need him tonight.

This may be music to IAWT's ears, but now I'm starting to think Emery maybe isn't the right man for the job...

I don't want to be definitive with that, as I'm still quite p/ssed with the result which could be influencing my feelings towards him right now.

However, I am getting more and more frustrated with his team selections, tactics and his analysis of each performance.

It's definitely not music to my ears Samir. At the end of the day, I'm an Arsenal fan and I wish I was wrong (and still hope I will be). But nothing from the past can suggest to me that he can turn things around.
His man management and the way he had half of the PSG team against him doesn't feel me with hope

Even if we lose it'll only be 1-0 or 2-1. We'll batter them at the Emirates if needs must.

Like I said before the huddersfield game. I'm just not confident in any game arsenal play anymore. Especially away nowadays

Not confident to turn this tie around. If we concede at the Emirates we need 3 goals and have only Kolasinac to give us something that looks like widths.

You'll turn it around at the emirates, early goal and you'll win 3 or 4 nil.

What's up with Ozil? Is it an attitude problem? Too much fortnite?

I think the squad will be better for the return fixture. We should have Ramsey, Sokratis and still a question mark whether or not Ozil will be involved.
Will be feckin ironic if he turn out to be the one saving Emery's job.

Board want rid of him. Rumours suggesting they're instructing Emery to marginalise him, so that he's more open to moving in the summer, even if it means reducing his wage demands to do so.

Interesting... I reckon he will have to take huge pay cut to join someone else.

Can't see any of the big clubs wanting him either, will either be a second rate Italian or German team.

Even if in the short term the team is suffering, the longer term strategy is already working.

Even though quite a few Gooners still want to see Ozil play for us at the moment, I rarely come across any comments wanting him to stay beyond this season.

I get that they want rid of Ozil, but the problem I have is that we are starved of creativity out there. The only chances we create seem to be from our fullbacks overloading on the flanks.

It is too one-dimensional. Ozil would at least stretch teams with his passing and vision.

Surely, rather than focusing on getting Ozil off the wage bill, our priority should be getting the best out of the squad we have to get CL football next season?

If people see he’s performing well, logically more clubs would be interested in him and we have a better chance of getting him sold that way rather than freezing him out.

Besides, he cannot do any worse than some of the jokers we have out there.
