pete says we're gonna finish 3rd and win EL, yet predicts us to lose tonight

Yep, 3 times the amount of pens as us this season, yet 2nd lowest scorers in the top 6.

If we don't win today, personally, I think it will be extremely difficult to get top 4 unless we win every single one of the remaining games we have left, which I just can't see happening.

I still think Europa is our best route, but if we can stay in the hunt for CL in both competitions by Thursday night, I will be a bit more confident of us ending the season well.

The fixture scheduling is stupid I agree, but I am hoping no-one uses that as an excuse if we get knocked out of the Europa and lose tonight.

We knew what the deal was before, so we have to deal with it.

Also, on a sidenote, for as well as Lacazette has played for us this season, and there is no doubt he is important to the way we play, does anyone else feel his goalscoring record is underwhelming?

41 games, 15 goals...it's literally the same as Lukaku's.

A player of his calibre should really have racked up more than 15 goals at this stage of the season.

I won't use it as an excuse as it happens to all teams, but it doesn't help. Could've easily had us play yesterday but nooo we NEED Monday night football...

Could add more goals, agreed.

Does a lot more in the game than Auba though. Hence they should both play.

In their defence, I think both of them are kind of restricted in the sense that we don’t actually create a lot of chances.

There was some stat that said something like this is the least chances we’ve created since pre-Wenger, yet our conversion rate is one of the highest.

Crazy considering we’ve always had the opposite problem for years!

Laca isn't prolific but does far more than Auba. Both are good strikers but not top 3-4 in the league

Behind the likes of Augero, Kane, Vardy and Firminho

Don't care about who is scoring as long as we are winning and getting results. Like more if more players scoring and not only one player have the burden of scoring.

This. Our wide forwards/MF do not score enough. Other than Ramsey.

Normally I’d agree GT but we need our strikers to step up now more than ever, as they are the two players who have the best goal scoring records for us. So logically, we are more likely to get a goal from them than any other player.

Plus, for their confidence and morale, it would help if they could score more.

I hope they do so tonight. We will see though.
