I’ve just seen the released players list. Why are Jenkinson and Monreal not there that means the TransferMarkt website has it wrong.
It also means we must have extended monreal’s Contract by one year without announcing it officially.
FFS.

Welbeck officially off.
DJ is having a party tonight.

Sad news. Should have got £20m for him last summer.
Wonder what we saw in Cohen bramall.
Is it known what is going on for Cohan Bramall next?

Bin man?
Yeah knew you would come up with something like this
Really can’t see Jenkinson leaving this summer now.
Maybe Charlton will take him back?
Just think he’s been hanging round the place for so many summers now, what’s really going to be different about this one?
Yeah, unfortunately think Jenkinson will see out his deal. No-one else will give him £50k per week.
Still don't understand why we extended Monreal's contract without announcing it. Quite sneaky from the club.
Hamburg trying to steal Jordi Osei-Tutu off us. Gunts doing some double dealing?
Finally re-watched the highlights of the 2015 FA Cup final. First time I've done so - was going through some heavy sh/t at that point, so I've never really wanted to revisit it before now.
Anyway, apart from being reminded of how well we played that day, what really struck me the sharp downturn in the squad in such a relatively short space of time.
Monreal was still a capable LB. Alexis a complete menace to the opposition. Kos and Merte a reliable partnership, and in Cazorla and Coquelin we looked so well balanced in the middle of the park, compared to the shambles we've seen pretty much ever since then.
Szczesny
Bellerin - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Monreal
Coquelin - Cazorla
Ramsey - Ozil - Alexis
Walcott
Subs: Ospina, Gabriel, Gibbs, Flamini, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud
I know we were far from perfect back then, but when you look at that matchday squad compared to what we put out against Chelsea in the Europa final, it's more than concerning.
The quality in the squad has been regressing since we stopped getting champions league.
Current squad compared to that fa Cup team is a joke
We currently have the worst arsenal squad in my lifetime
Yeah, when you factor everything in, it's probably the worst Arsenal squad I can remember in my lifetime (off the top of my head). Part of the issue is the lack of balance we have and depth in key positions.
Back then, we had Gibbs, Wilshere, Ox and Giroud, who were decent options to have from the bench. Even Gabriel wasn't terrible in his first few months at Arsenal and was a decent-ish back-up.
To be honest though, and this is something I do console myself with, teams go through peaks and troughs. We've experienced a lot of highs in years gone by, and now it's time to accept that we aren't at that level any longer. It happens. Every club has low points in their history and this is our low point in recent history.
Will it get worse before it gets better? In all honesty, it probably will. I don't see us doing anything meaningful for a little while (unless our fortunes drastically change).
Football is cyclical.
As pessimistic as I'm feeling about the club right now, we will experience good times again I am sure of that. When that will happen remains to be seen, but nothing lasts forever at the end of the day.

Don't think Özil gone in the right direction.

It's the right time for Ozil to leave so long as we can get something close to a reasonable deal

croobs only rates sh!t goober players, because since wenger feked off, he has to prove he is a better supportered than everyone else so just backs sh!t players

That's a stunning bite btw
Is it me or is the impression that all players we are linked to not exciting me.
