Unfortunately it looks as if we’re going to keep Xhaka (c) and that being the case, perhaps we need to be looking for someone more compatible with him?

Apparently Angelino of PSV is someone we should be looking at. Better than what we have (lol) and wouldn’t cost the earth.

Like I said previously, I'm at a point where I'm not overly bothered who leaves bar some of the youngsters.

I don't expect us to get CL football next season anyway, so I hope we can at least watch some entertaining football and watch the youngsters thrive before we eventually sell them on.

That’s why we need a DoF signing the players, IAWT. They should be dictating our style of play, not the coach.

Isn’t Ndombele a bit too much on the footballing radar now for Arsenal to try to sign him?

Yes.

Just because I don't personally expect us to get CL football, it doesn't mean the club should have that expectation too. It's down to the manager, staff and players to prove me wrong.

As I've said before, 5th and a European final for a first season isn't disastrous even if the circumstances in how it happened was terrible. He at least deserves a second chance to show whether he's learned from his mistakes.

The main reason why I am not convinced we will get CL football is because I can see our rivals massively outspending us in the transfer market. Considering how bad our current squad is in its current state, expecting CL football with a few minor changes won't be enough. This is something which is out of Emery's control.
