We are being asked to pay £25m for an unproven player from a weaker league who is ironically injured. Thankfully he is only 22 but that means he is no sure thing, which is why I believe we are haggling hard.

Trippier is proven and has a great free kick. Added to that he is going to a less intense league so less likely to get injured. I think its low in todays market.

Spurs fans don't rate Trippier. Celtic fans highly rate Tierney. Tierney is younger. But Trippier is English.

Only one way to solve this...

Trippier is absolutely garbage, I don't know what the hell Simeone is thinking going for him. Maybe he feels Trippier's career can be resurrected in a new league, but I just don't see this working out.

The petition is probably going to pass 100k signatories today, and already any galvanising effect it was meant to have seems to be in doubt.

Next step is for people to start boycotting the matches. The food concessions. The Armory.

I think when push comes to shove lex, people love the club too much to not go if they are able too. The Kroenke family know that and they know most anger/frustration directed toward them will die out. Or they will just block it out.

Because no matter how much people complain or express their anger, these same people will still attend games and will still follow the club in one way or another. That is what they want.
