Oh no!
Where will we get all our speculative waffle from now? 🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
🤔
So we worked and still working hard to reduce our wages bill so that we can give Dani Alves £200K per week?!
As long as it’s a short term deal, it’s fine.
Been a while since I’ve seen him play, but surely he’ll be a better fit for us than Lichsteiner was.
As long as he doesn’t have a ridiculous signing on fee of course.
Wasn't Alves captaining Brazil a few weeks ago?
Funny thing is I mentioned on here I wouldn’t be surprised if after signing Martinelli we brought in an Brazilian.
Did David Ornstein suggest we might do?
DID HE, GT?!!
Hmmm. I'd rather we not go for Alves.
He was a top player in his heyday but he's 36, going on 37, and I don't think he will have what it takes to do a job defensively for us. Going forward, he'll be great I'm sure, but that's not really a problem area for us generally.
On top of that, he still wants very high wages.
It'd be a 'big name' signing, but not worth the hassle IMO.
We need another Rb. At least with Alves we will get some bite back into the team
Wouldn't mind Alves for a year if no huge signing on fee - looks handy still, proven winner and would be exactly the type of player for Bellerin to learn more from.
Then again I thought the Lich deal was a good idea at the time
His age makes him a massive risk. And he still wants £200k per week. Not worth the financial ramifications.

paid per game
Ceballos on loan looks to materialise. Even the Marca is talking about a loan.
Positive Vibes only today
Anyone seen the new Huddersfield home kit?
'Unai Emery says he’s yet to make a decision about who will be Arsenal’s club captain next season but, as was the case last season, he’s open to the role being shared between players.'
Ooo... this is potentially positive news, Crouchy
Emery: “At the moment, Koscielny has a contract with us but I think they are going to speak, the club and him, about whether he continues or not."
Ahh that's great.
Really happy they're all going to have a natter to sort things out.
Emery: “We have players with the capacity [to be captains]. One is Granit. Last year also he played so much as a captain, and was like a captain in the dressing room.
“We also have Mesut and Nacho, and also other players, they can take this position also. I want from three to five captains in the team.”
I'll be honest with you all, with all the recent negativity surrounding the club, I'd completely forgotten how many options we have.
Thanks for reminding my, Unai

The fact we don't have any stand out option says a lot.
