I'm not sure about Ceballos. Good player, but seems a but dumb. Wtf was that pass across our own box? He did it last week aswell.

Liverpool obviously upped their game against us though, so it's a bit disingenuous to say Norwich, Southampton etc got more joy.

Look at those first ten minutes again. Liverpool were expending so much energy, they couldn't keep that up.

They scored psychological at the right time. Dont think they had too many clear cut chances in the first half. They beat us to a setpiece directly before HT. Luiz done the rest directly into the second half.

After that we lost completely our head again. Torreira brought in a bit patience then and they put the gas off as well.

Torreira should have started. Although he scored, as a DM, he shouldn't have brought IN when we were 3 down.
We cried a full decade to have a decent DM, now we have one and he started from the bench

They probably up theirs game but we undeniably made their tasks much easier as well with the wrong tactics.

In the second half when we were chasing the game Emery brings on Torreira for Ceballos which made no sence whatsoever

At that time we have Torreira, Guendouzi, Xhaka and Willock on the pitch at Anfield which chasing the game.

Makes no sence

As I said, let's see what next game brings. The NLD will be the real test for me. A must win

Castor, we lost the game after they scored the second goal. Yes agree, he could have subbed in Torreira way earlier for Gwendo or Ceballos. For me Gwendo lost it completely after their second goal.

Yes, diamond against a team of width is suicidal. Find it a bit strange that a manager happy to go 3-5-2 in many games has gone to Anfield twice with a back 4 and let the full backs have the freedom of the wings.

Torreira should have started, Emery has clearly lost faith in him for some reason.
