My issue with the whole “let’s wait until the end of the season” thing is I genuinely don’t think we will be able to retain our best players after a 4th year of Europa League football, which is looking likely under the current manager. Torreira, Laca, Auba will definitely be off and we may have to sell promising youth players to compensate for the lack of CL income.
If we’re going to get rid of Emery, I’d prefer to do it at a time when we’re still in contention for CL qualification and when all isn’t lost.
There are no excuses for him any longer.

Think I would replace Xhaka with Torreira. But if Emery is adamant we need a tall DM then play Luiz in that position and Sok/Chambers or Sok/Holding when Holding is match fit again.

Based on what you’ve seen for him over the past year and a bit, do you have a modicum of faith in Emery to not only get us CL football, but to do so whilst playing an attractive brand of football?
No and no
Based on the season so far I think this will be his last with us, we should still scrape 4th with the strikers baling us out but even on the unbeaten run last season we were being dominated by lesser teams.
Emery never finished 4th with Sevilla and failed to win the league once at PSG... Whatever was in that PowerPoint presentation must have been amazing on that record
If we get so bad that were languishing mid table close to Xmas I'd get rid and give it FrEdu until the end of the season

If you look at the table, then yeah and ultimately that what matters.
But if you look at our performance yesterday, the stats coming from that game (or any other games this season), then reasons for optimism are rather fine.
And we can't keep rely on Auba/Laca to bail us out.

My hope is that he’s himself active on social media so he must have now realised how yesterday game pi$$ed 100% of the fans.
He needs to change his approach but I won’t hold my breath
