Stewart Huston was pretty bad.

Would be interesting to see what would happen if the the ‘football bubble’ did ever burst.

I mean we’d be facked for a while, as would Man U and Liverpool. Maybe Chelsea too? City would probably be okay. Spurs would totally go under though.

I hoped for Freddie, rather than expected.

tbh I never had that much confidence in Freddie. He was in Emery's backroom staff. Its not as if he didn't share blame for what happened. And then to bring everyone back for Norwich. Way too cliched.

The players just don't do it once they're on the pitch, not regularly enough anyway

I'd hate an authoritarian like Simeone but it feels like we need a manager who's gonna mentally slap the players about a bit and weed out those who don't have the right mentality

George Graham was authoritarian and it worked.

The malaise around the club is very similar to what we had in the late mid 80s n all

I’ve still faith in the youngsters. Just don’t think they’ve got the right calibet of players or characters round them, so they’re going to have to sort things out for themselves. Just hope they don’t get too disillusioned and resentful whilst they try.

Thats why the next appointment is so crucial. Allegri and Simeone are both big egos with a lot of success behind them. Can't see any player doing what Xhaka did to Emery, to either of those managers. Simeone is also very good with younger players. Persuading him to walk out on Atletico though.

We shouldnt look to the manager. We need to look at the responsibilities of the players. They are hiding and let the club alone.

I am worried about Arsenal Football Club as I think that even a new manager will fix this mess.

I just can’t believe how badly we’ve wasted this season already. To be honest where we finish in the league now doesn’t matter. We’re not getting a CL spot. Focus on Europa and FA Cup to give us something to fight for at least. Otherwise we’re just going through the motions.

I'm willing to give Sanllehi a pass till we see the how his appointment performs. In my opinion this is going to the most critical test for him. If he fails then we have to move on from him as well.

What have you seen so far from him which make you have any kind of hope? David Luiz? Pepe? Emery? Ceballos? Suarez? Or persisting with a failing manager until post the international break, just to sack him few days later?
I'm not convinced by Freddie but in his defence, he'd have beneficiate of the break to try sort something out.

Btw, Raul main candidate for the post is Marcelino, someone who was sacked by Valencia.

He's actually was a very good coach for them, he got sacked because a disagreement with the owner about something not because of his performance. Fans were incensed.
But I still do not want him though.

I don't think this is the right appointment, but I'd rather have him over Arteta, Vieira or Howe, as some fans have wanted.

In his defence, he did turn Villareal into a very good team and took Valencia from 12th to two consecutive top-4 finishes, as well as winning the Copa del Rey against Barcelona - Valencia's 1st trophy in 11 years.

What I don't like is the massive overreaction from fans on social media saying it'd be a disaster appointment and that we'd plummet down the table if we got him.

It seems like a lot of Arsenal fans are not even giving him the chance to prove himself and are writing him off before he's set foot into the club.

I am so disenchanted by what is going on at Arsenal at the moment. The club is in a mess and I dont see the light at the end of the tunnel no matter who is in charge. Our signings under Raul have been a disaster to be honest. Really thought the worst are behind us at the beginning of the season.

Lose tonight and we are right in the relegation battle where we havent got the players for.
