At this stage I'm not too worried about his reported lack of pace.
After all, people used to say the same about Mertesacker, and he turned out to be one our best CB signings of the Wenger era.

Set me up for a bite eh. No one is as slow as the big German. And I doubt someone as slow would survive pushing up to the half way line as Arteta demands. Wenger's teams never did. I remember how Klopp dismantled Mert and Arteta when he was at Dortmund. However if he is as fast as Kos, I'll be happy with it.
By the way Sol, Kolo, Gallas, Kos, all want to have a word.
Sol, Kolo and Kos can pop round for for sure - I did specifically say 'one of' the best.
Gallas can do one though.

Sulky he may have been. One of the best CBs under's Wenger reign he certainly was. Not to forget Vermalean. Poor sod. Still Wenger CBs in the early years don't look so bad in hindsight. I'll even put Cygan on par with BFG.
tbf Mertsecker's weaknesses were exaggerated because of Giroud. By lacking pace on the both sides of the pitch we couldn't really push up as a team or play counter attack from deep. I don't think I'll ever forgive Wenger for losing the title to Leicester City.

Think it will be a strong team. From the Leeds game it looked obvious that Arteta is using the FA Cup to further embed his ideas.
Agree with you J99. Expect a strong team with slight changes. Think Ceballos will play instead of Özil tonight.
Bellerin will be captain, Crouchy.
Not sure Bellerin will play. 2 games in a week is a bit of an ask.
AMN did well there before, not to fussed if Bellers doesn't play
Would like Saka left wing, MymanMartinelli up front and someone right.
Expect our CB's like Papa/Holding
