if we don't get cl football next season, j99, which is looking likely, then what do you expect this summer window?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a c£100m budget. Now that Ozil is in his final year we could sell him to another club. Cause we have already paid off 80% of his contract. That makes him affordable to other clubs.

I hope we tie up Auba. His miss actually makes it more likely he will not get the type of money elsewhere that we are offering.

No one will give us what Wenger wasted on Lacazette. So I would personally swap him for some other project. James to replace Ozil? or Lemar to fill the left wing position while Saka matures?

I think we will try to get Partey or someone of that calibre. I think Xhaka will play himself out of Arsenal. After the initial euphoria I think most now realise his issues with ball transition and lack of pace. He doesn't have the vision ppl think he does. I think we may sign Ceballos permanently to partner someone like Partey.

Mari to replace Sokratis and I think Soares will get a contract to back up Bellerin.

I'd be reluctant to sell Mustafi less than what we paid. He has done so well under Arteta that I'd consider keeping him now.

We really don't require wholesale changes that ppl think we do. Just some exits.

Ozil, Laca, Xhaka, Kolsanic.

Would save us a ton of wages and bring in some money to add to our perennial £100m budget.

against newcastle and everton.

what happened in our last two european games?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Blame Arteta's timidity for that. He went into the game cautious trying not to lose. And then went gungo-ho trying to avoid penalties. Whatever you say abt Emery. He had a better grasp on how to win in Europe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Read after that. I couldn't care less if Arteta fails in Europe as long as he can rebuild us back in the league.

Yep just like Chelsea.

If we don't want to fall victim to FFP we need to get rid of highest wage earners who ain't adding anything special for the team.

Not as shocking as their £250m defence. 3-0 is a proper stonking.

Probably not as much as Adrian Durham. Expecting a whole segment on Monday crying in his coffee repeating how its not important compared to trophies or points or something or anything. Not noticing the irony of why he has to demean it all the time.

His in law's are all gooners so he learned early how to wind us up

He then saw how much clout he got from the rest of the audience for it so carried on. Sad for him that he became a one trick pony but that's the horse he rides now

Sad for him really because there's a decent non ex player football pundit there who's not a one trick pony

Some Liverpool fan posted this:
"City's achievement of 100 points is better than Arsenal's achievement. As was their achievement of 98 points last season. In fact our season last season was probably better than Arsenal's as well"
what is he smoking?

That's like saying West Ham season in 2002/2003 was better then West Brom season 2004/2005 as West Ham got 42 points and West Brom got 34, but W est Brom stayed up with 34 points that season whilst West Ham went down with 42 points!
