Its actually paying the people wages up to 80% up to £2500 per month to keep them employed. the government are also covering wages of freelance workers like Pete for the same amount. That way people who are most tempted to go out and break isolation don't have to cause their food, amenity bills will be covered. Its not a way of warding off unemployment benefit. Its almost communism. From a centre right gov and the MBA son-in law of a billionaire . Amazing stuff. Will have my vote to be next PM for sure.

what i understand from a quick read. its time limited and not applicable to free lance workers. eg a lot of my staff. where as this lasts as long as the lockdown continues. But obviously you know more. I heard that to do what we were doing needs joint EZ action. And some countries are dead against it.

Our goverment decided to give out extra money for smaller companies and free lancer and also for artists to compensate during the crisis. This isnt a credit you have to pay back. It's just survival money.
