By the way, just read that we've appealed the Nketiah red card decision - the ban could be extended if it's deemed a frivolous appeal...

They don't extend bans anymore. That rule was brought in because appeals took so long to be ruled on, and it was sometimes abused to make a player available for the next game. Now appeals are done before the next game.

Need Wolves and Sheffield United to draw.
Seen the photo of Mustafi this morning. Always hard to put your bias aside & I certainly think Vardy is the type of player who would kick out like that. Hard to prove intent though, but surely if he loses control like that and cuts someone open on the face it should be a red? As reckless as Nketiah's, which was also a red.
Also convinced there'd be other games where they'd draw a million lines and find Vardy's shoulder offside for the goal, regardless of Perez touching it or not.
End of the day we should have scored more I guess.

When the fack will you leave me alone?
Lot of pressure on us now for North London Derby. If we win and Wolves and Sheffield United don't win there games this weekend we go 6th. If we lose we could be down to 10th (although Burnley winning at Anfield may be unlikely) all of a sudden those dropped points yesterday have made things more difficult.
Just seen Tarkowski foul on Bowen. How has he not been sent off, as bad if not worse than Nketiahs.

He looked bad at full speed but probably even worse slowed down. The referees in the PL are just a joke.
They are trying theirs best to make people hate VAR so it gets cancelled and they can go back and be free to do whatever they want.
Having watched other leagues, WC and international games, it is definitely more controversial in the PL

England Under-21 international Nketiah's case will be heard by a Football Association regulatory commission, which could increase the punishment to up to double the standard ban if it is decided the appeal "had no prospect of success" or "amounts to an abuse of process".
